Greetings from the Army Institute of Fashion & Design (AIFD)!
It is both an honour and a privilege to serve as the principal of an institute that stands
at the intersection of creativity, discipline, and cultural heritage. At AIFD, we are
committed to nurturing not only the artistic and intellectual potential of our students
but also shaping them into responsible, value-driven individuals.
Our vision goes beyond imparting academic excellence in design and fashion. We
strive to cultivate a strong sense of discipline, professional attitude and a pride for
our country and its culture and traditions. We encourage students to draw inspiration
from the rich traditions, arts, and crafts of our country. In a world that is constantly
evolving, it is this rootedness in culture along with national pride that provides true
direction and depth to the personalities of our students.
As a premier institute under the aegis of the Army Welfare Education Society
(AWES), AIFD is deeply influenced by the ethos of the armed forces—discipline,
integrity, resilience, and service before self. These values form the backbone of our
institutional environment and are reflected in our work ethics, campus culture, and
student character. We take immense pride in carrying forward this legacy in
everything we do. This is also reflected in our placements.
We have competent and well-qualified faculty who continue to shape future leaders
in the fashion and design industry with their dedication, creativity, and mentorship.
We are thankful to our parents and guardians. Their trust and support form the
foundation of our student's success.
We are also blessed to have a highly proactive management whose unwavering
support and commitment to excellence helps us in ensuring smooth and efficient
functioning of the Institute.
